The name and motto for the Iranian delegation to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games were proposed yesterday.
Iran NOC, Tehran, July 22, 2019: “Paralympic
Committee reported on the activities and the achieved quota for Tokyo2020 and
effective measures have been taken by their officials”.
“the next step is our cultural
program and agenda which must commence its operational phase along with the
games and events held in different cities and within the Olympic Games in
cooperation with the Iranian Embassy in Tokyo”
“ANOC World Beach Games, to be held
in Qatar, has a different condition and up to now, Beach Soccer, Karate and
Climbing have achieved quotas while it is predicted that our national teams in
Beach Volleyball and Wrestling would obtain the quotas, too”.
“Iranian Tokyo 2020 Delegation will have a
name and motto for which few proposals were made. As regards the uniforms for
Tokyo 2020, the matter will be meticulously followed in the future sessions”
said Dr. Seyed Nasrrolah Sajjadi, Iranian Delegation Chef de Mission & Spokesman
for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Preparation Headquarters.
