Iranian national squads of karate and hockey achieved the champion title in their Asian competitions.
According to the
report released by NOC Public Relations Department, Iran male National Hockey
Team which participated in the 8th Asian Nations Cup in Thailand
reached the final stage and defeated Kazakhstan by 10-0 to enjoy a mighty win.
In another Asian
competition in Tashkent, Iran National Karate Team reached finals in both male
and female categories and managed to achieve the second place in the Asian Cup
by winning 5 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals. Japan, as the
perpetual karate
champion, achieved the first title and the host, Kazakhstan, stood at 3rd
place.
