Mojtaba Abedini, the Iranian fencer won the valuable world bronze medal.
According to the report released by NOC Public Relations
Department, Mojtaba Abedini, the captain of Iran National Fencing Team defeated
his Hungarian opponent by 15 to 8 to bag the valuable bronze medal.
It is important to highlight that this is the first
world-class medal for fencing in Iran’s sports history achieved by Abedini who
had managed to beat other opponents from Japan, Tunisia, Germany and Russia in
previous rounds.
