Olympic International Congress Hall, known as Farsi Hall, was inaugurated in the presence of NOC and Ministry of Sports & Youth high-ranking officials.
According to the report released by NOC Public Relations Department,
Farsi Hall, which was named after the late sports journalist, Mr. Abolqasem
Farsi underwent an extensive renovation.
This sports hall is intended for holding sports assemblies,
sessions and meetings.
The inauguration ceremony of the Hall took place in the presence of
high-ranking sports officials from Iran NOC, Ministry of Sports & Youth,
NFs, Olympians and other sports figures and followed by the EB Meeting as the
first official gathering after renovation.
“having the flags and signboards of NOC, NPC and Sports Ministry at
the hall entrance is indicative of a borderless sports venue accessible by all NFs
and the whole sports community” said the NOC President in his opening speech.
“this hall required a wide-scaled renovation which was completely
renovated; therefore, I forward my appreciation to my colleagues at NOC and
Olympic Academy as a token of my gratitude for their significant efforts in preparing
such a magnificent and prestigious hall” stated Dr. Salehi Amiri in commending
the renovation activity.
