Mr. Peyman Fakhri, Director of the National Teams’ Monitoring Center, was appointed as the Chef de Mission for the ANOC World Beach Games to be held in Doha, Qatar.
According to the report released by the NOC Public Relations
Department, Mr. Peyman Fakhri received his appointment letter from the NOC
President, Dr. Salehi Amiri during a meeting in the presence of the NOC Acting
Secretary-General, Dr. Kaykavos Saeidi, Dr. Nassrollah Sajjadi, Senior Advisor
to NOC President and Dr. Taherian, NOC Vice-President.
ANOC World Beach Games was scheduled to be held in San Diego
after the US withdrew from hosting this event owing to financial problems. The
event was immediately granted to Asia and Qatar won the ANOC’s trust to host
it.
