Iran discus thrower Ehsan Haddadi grabbed gold medal in the 23rd Asian Athletics Championships in Qatar on Sunday and Behnam Shiri won silver medal in the contests.
Iran wins gold, silver in Asian Athletics Championships
Haddadi won gold as well as his sixth Asian title with a throw of 65.95 meters in the competitions.
Shiri came second with a throw of 60.89 meters and bagged silver in the 23rd Asian Athletics Championships.
Jordan, Qatar, Uzbekistan and China ranked third to sixth, respectively in the competitions.
