The Asian Squash Federation announced that Iran's national team has been selected as the best Asian team in terms of achieving progress.
Iran squash team tops in Asia
The final session to adopt top Asian teams in 2019 was held with participation of Anthony So; Asian squash representative, Emily Mak; executive representative (of Asian Squash Federation) as well as representatives from Iran, Japan, India and Hong Kong.
Due to its progress in 2018, the Iranian squad paved its to 2019.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Hossein Sanayee has been adopted as best Asian acoach in development field and Fatemeh Sadat Heidari as best coach in the identity field.
Squash is a ball sport played by two (singles) or four players (doubles squash) in a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball. The players must alternate in striking the ball with their racquet and hit the ball onto the playable surfaces of the four walls of the court.
