Iranian junior Karate team snatched a gold and a silver medal at Armenia international championships.
The event was held with the attendance of 700 karatekas from 24 countries in Yerevan, Armenia on April 7-8.
Iranian fighters Alireza Namdar Shahi and Ehsan Piraei received gold and silver medals, respectively.
Karate is a martial art developed in the Ryukyu Kingdom. It developed from the indigenous Ryukyuan martial arts under the influence of Chinese martial arts, particularly Fujian White Crane.
