Iranian female teenage Taekwondoka Mobina Babalou in the weight category of – 55 kg received bronze medal at 2016 WTF World Taekwondo Junior Championships held in Canada.
In her first and second matches, Babalou defeated Latvian and Greek rivals respectively.
In her third match, Babalou overpowered the taekwondoka from Cyprus 9-1, but in the semi-final match she was defeated by Croatian rival 13-5 and snatched the bronze medal.
The tournament kicked off on Nov 16 with attendance of some 800 athletes from 110 countries
